I loved camping here! Felt so safe as a solo female traveler. make sure to bring TP and a water jug - no public bathroom and water was located a short drive away. Neither of those things affected my stay though. Was so peaceful and secluded, 10/10. Hosts were also very helpful and responsive!

Deep Forest by a Sizable Pond
This property is pretty special. We tented on a thickly forested hilltop up from a sizable pond. The canopy was massive and must be spectacular in the fall. The nighttime serenade was performed by frogs, owls and so many other things. Unexpected concrete pad with a shelter was a nice bonus. We had our coffee on the dock. Mosquitos in May are probably common around here. Overall a fabulous deal.
The host led us back even further than the driveway (an awesome long one) in a side-by-side. If you're using Google maps it will take you to the wrong side of the property. Look for the bar and grill instead and come in that way.

Waterfront Woodland Retreat
It was a beautiful location. It felt like it was off the beaten path without being far out of town. Having a high clearance vehicle would be recommended. We felt like we were back home in the mountains. It was great for relaxing and star gazing. We highly recommend. Love, love, loved it.

Clover Field
Perfect getaway.
This was a perfect getaway for my girlfriend and I. The site overlooking the water was beautiful, tucked in the back so it felt nice and secluded as well. Laura was great with answering my questions in a timely manner, and gave great directions to help locate the land. Her husband welcomed me, (as I was running a little behind) and helped me get to the site making sure we had every thing we needed! 10/10 would recommend and look forward to when I can come back!

Beaver Field
My stay at Beaver field:
Laura was very responsive with text messages, and even a phone call- helping me with directions …
most accommodating;
Upon my arrival - with no other campers -I had my pick of any site that suited me- and what a wonderful campsite it turned out to be.
so peaceful - like having my own little oasis; w/the sunrise out my window, Singing of birds and all the trees just beginning to Bud… how beautiful! Not to mention the night skies, wildlife, and plenty of walking paths.
Laura and Zach greeted me with “gifts” every camper can use(paper towels, plastic bags for trash) but most of all a wonderful breakfast -fresh eggs from their hens!
How extremely welcoming /nice of them. They even put extra daily eggs in a basket at their front door if any campers should want them.
Zach shared some of his fishing skills and gave me a couple of lures to try my own skills in the pond.
Thanks Zach! I did catch a few with the lures!!
And to mention w/the solar eclipse, they even had solar eclipse viewing glasses for those who didn’t have….how awesome was that!
just can’t say enough for all their thoughtfulness/hospitality/kindness.
When talking with them (and walking around) you can see/sense their passion, and hear their history of this land - Sharing it & welcoming travelers as myself, thank you!

Wonderful host and location
Beautiful, serene, private, and restorative. I loved tent camping at this spot and would highly recommend it, especially if you like spotting wildlife!
